Are you a hero, or a just a messenger?
Michael Bay's Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon has been in my Top 5 movie list this year and Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL answered my prayer, as my brother and I got to watch its special movie screening last June 29 at the Shangri-la Cineplex Mall along with famous bloggers.

There were Transfrormers cosplayers roaming around the Cineplex, a cocktail buffet before the movie screening and a photobooth for our movie souvenier sponsored by PLDT my DSL.
Director Michael Bay determined the fate of the world with its release of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon (2011), completing the Transformers trilogy where Optimus Prime will make his biggest mistake and the world will face its worst nightmare.
Moon, 1969: three astronauts leaped over the word "impossible" and stepped onto the moon's dusty surface. But then it was not a mission to simply write history, rather a top secret agenda to discover firsthand the cosmic spacecraft that landed on the moon.
After a surprise encounter with a monstrous Decepticon called Shockwave in Russia, Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots headed back to the US headquarters only to find out about the secret misson on the moon years ago. Sam (Shia LaBeouf), on the other hand, struggling to find a decent job save for his girlfriend Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) who helped him find one, was also attacked by the enemy after an officemate radically gave him information about the simultaneous deaths of a group of scientists who knew about the secret.
Optimus Prime then searched for the Cybertronian spacecraft in the moon and reawakened Centinum to finally save their planet. Centinum told them about the 100 pillars he was supposed to ship to earth to rebuild their world and found out the rest were missing, with NASA only finding five of them.
But then reawakening Centinum was actually part of the Megatron's plan. With the rest of the pillars kept by the Decepticons scattered around the world, all they had needed was Centinum to activate the pillars and open the threshold that would connect Cybertron to the earth, thus rebuilding it once more.
With his girlfriend taken hostage by Dylan (Patrick Dempsey), the son of one of the scientists who worked for the Decepticons, Sam was forced to temporarily work for them by reporting the Autobots' next move. On that hopeless and inevitable fate, Optimus Prime apologized for the damage he'd done and with the rest of the Autobots they were sent away, but not until the Decepticons blew up their ship.
And so the apocalypse began. With no more Autobots left to save the planet, the Decepticons started preparing the pillars to rebuild their world. But Sam was determined to stop Megatron's plans and save his girlfriend, and eventually found out the Autobots survived the Decepticons' attack. Together with the remaining US Army, they moved on to a suicidal mission to finish the war once and for all.
"You didn't betray me. You betrayed yourself." In the last thrilling minutes of the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, I was moved to tears especially when Sam couldn't help but watch his best friend Bumblebee almost get killed by the enemy.
Aside from the Autobots' and the Decepticons' jaw-dropping transformations in this redemptive and action-packed movie, Transformers 3 is also a comedy film, especially in the scenes when Sam's parents were scolding him about his broken love life.
Directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is now showing in cinemas worldwide.
It definitely transformed my world witnessing the world's last stand in the battle between good and evil from Michael Bay's creative and unique viewpoint. My brother really enjoyed it and said it was an unforgettable experience for him, all thanks to Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL!
