HOT Cowboys and Aliens Special Movie Screening!

"Demons took your gold. When you get to hell, you can ask for it back."

Han Solo and James Bond clashed in one movie. Plus directed by the creator of Iron Man, totally the hottest movie in town! I brought my dad, an epic movie critic and an avid fan of Harrison Ford, along to the special movie screening of Cowboys and Aliens last August 10, all thanks to Nuffnang anfd Pizza Hut!

We experienced firsthand Pizza Hut's evolution from Hate Late to its new Hot on the Dot Pizza Deliveries, as they served us hot pizza as indicated by the thermally activated sticker you place on the pizza box upon receiving your pizza.

We were also amused at the gag rally of Pizza Hut delievery men demanding for hot pizza. They also performed an intermission number during the program.

A photo and a metal bracelet were the only vague clues for nameless and lost Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) as he woke up all bloody one day in a strange and unfriendly desert. Hostile to strangers, the residents of Absolution town tried to pin him down only to discover he was the deadly wanted cowboy who allegedly killed his own wife.

Just as Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) arrived to settle the problem and save his own mischievous son Percy (Paul Dano) from being incarcerated as well, glinting lights devoured the town and space ships grabbed residents with their long metal tentacles. Jake's metal bracelet was activated and was able to destroy a space ship.

With wives, grandfathers and sons abducted by the unlikely aliens in a desert, the cowboys of Absolution town set off with the doubtful company of Jake, who, as the journey got more dangerous and was filled with his lost memories, realized he held the key to save the town.

With the help of an elusive traveler named Ella (Olivia Wilde) Jake finally remembered how he and his wife were also abducted and how he escaped. Amd as he did, he accidentally snatched the alien's most powerful weapon: the metal bracelet.

The bloody clash between cowboys and aliens became the hottest battle in town as Dolarhyde's team worked together with Jake's former cowboy gang and the Indian tribe to stop the alien invasion and save their people.

This action-packed and suspense movie, with a hint of humor especially from Harrision Ford made this a must-see one. My dad loved it and I especially liked the flashback scenes piecing up Jake's lost memory every now and then.

All thanks to Nuffnang and Pizza Hut!
