2) 2 cups heavy cream
3) 1 cup milk
4) 1/2 cup butter
5) 1 cup butter
6) 1/4 teaspoon salt
7) 1 cup all-purpose flour
8) 4 eggs
2) Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

1) 1 cup butter, softened
2) 1 cup white sugar
3) 1 cup packed brown sugar
4) 2 eggs
5) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6) 3 cups all purpose flour
7) 1 teaspoon baking soda
8) 2 teaspoons hot water
9) 1/2 teaspoon salt
10) 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
11) 1 cup chopped walnuts
3) Pesto Pasta with Eggplant Chips
- For the Pesto
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1 clove garlic
- About 3 cups basil leaves loosely packed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (see Tips)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Little salt to taste

- 1 pound fusilli (or use trenette or penne pasta)
- 1 large eggplant, cubed (I used 5 small eggplants)
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
